When we have to say goodbye we feel them each day.
The love they have for us is only a thought away
When we close our eyes we see every memory so clear
When we think of them we have only to reach out with our hearts to feel them near
So we light a candle for them to light their way
Knowing we will once again be with them one bright wonderful day
The candle shows them our love shining through time and space

Once upon a time we had a love so strong it made us feel as if we were never going to be apart
Then one day something happened that almost broke your heart

In the quiet place where you go to be alone. Where no one knows where to find you. I am there.

As you think about me remember I am happy now running free in meadows lush and green
Beside a sparkeling brook we run and play each day and not one tear is seen
Each night we sleep under shining moon and twinkeling stars in soft green grass so sweet.
This is our life till you may come and once again we meet
So no more tears my special friend, my heart, my soul,my love
Until that special day I watch you from above
There is no need for you to grieve for me at all. I am not gone you know
